D-Rays and D-Backs (1995 - Apr/98)... the latest Charlotte NBA franchise (Nov/02 - Nov/04)... the Wild and Blue Jackets (Jun/97 - Oct/00)... had to wait till their first season. The Jays were awarded an expansion team during the 1976 season and were up and playing spring training in Feb/
reppact
Funny, I just noticed that there is NO mention of the logo on the English Expos site. You'd think us Anglophones would like to know about it too.Just another example of English oppression...

MrHockey9
There's a reason why expansion teams take so long to start now.The league wants the new arena built by the time the team begins play. Back then, you could play a few years, then move in. Now you start play in the new stadium.
