With the navy on orange, the stripes wouldn't match-up. They'd be orange on the jersey and then navy on the pants. I know some teams, like the Vikings and Bengals, may have tha white portion that may look disconnected when worn white on white, but to have the whole panel on either part of the uniform completely different color would just not look good at all. And by having the white trim on the front side of the panel on the pants, it does the same thing to the orange trim on the navy panel on the white jersey. And then on the orange jersey, you'd have the white trim on the pants, but not on the jersey, even though the panels would both be navy. I'd leave that white trim off and just make it navy.

The monochrome orange just made me go blind. Nice going, :censored:. :P

Seriously though, definitely nix the monochrome orange...and blue on orange...and white on orange. In fact, back to the drawing board altogether with these. They're not really so much a concept as they are a recolor (albeit a nicely done recolor).

That photoshop shows the fatal flaw with the concept. The only way for orange pants to work is to have the swoosh be orange with a navy outline. OR... have the orange swoosh on the blue jersey be blue with an orange outline.

If orange pants is what you want, that doesn't mean you have to make one of the sets look mismatched because of a stripe or a trim. Either adjust the stripes on the pants accordingly (make 2 pairs if you have to) or completely remove the stripes from the pants so that nothing will look out of place because the pants would be monochrome. The Rams have at least 3 pairs of pants from what I've seen so don't limit yourself.

Nice ideas - why not try making an all white one? That may look cool

The Broncos wear white-on-white for their road games. I've never liked the look, personally, though I'm not sure if blue pants are the answer.

Blue pants wouldn't work with the whites because the stripes wouldn't match up, and that would ruin the entire "swoosh" element of the Broncos uniforms. The Broncos are good about having the stripes match, to the extent of having two separate sets of white pants to avoid mismatching the stripes. If the Broncos added orange pants, they would really only work with the orange and white uniforms. I can't say they'd look good with either, though. Maybe I can photoshop something up.

I'm undecided based on that crappy photoshop I did. It took a loooong time for the Broncos uniforms to grow on me, but I now believe they have one of the best uniforms in the league -- certainly the best of all the 'modern' designs -- so I'd hate to mess with a good thing and add orange pants. I really don't think that template looks good with monotone jerseys (which is why the Broncos are one of the few teams that can pull it off) and pants except for their white uniforms.
