toostyling
I was at the Raps game yesterday and saw the new floors. The Raps courts which now looks to be the best in the NBA. The centre court has the rap claw in red with a red circle around it. Looks amazing and the wordmark at each side of the court has Raptors spelled out in black with red.It looks simple and sweet. Also I am not sure anyone notcied with the raps old floor which was used for the past two seasons, The red they used was more of a pinkish red, but the new floor is a nice strong red.I did not take any picures but if you watch the highlites from yesterdays game you will see it. Dnice
The claw is ok with me, but I'm not sure about the red circle, I think about TNT for some reason, lol.

Davey
I was watching the game last night and the new court is awesome. I mean it looks great in action and blends well with the arena. The only thing i don't like is the script at both ends. it is not the same with the script on their jerseys or on their primary logo, which I thought it would be. The less red on the court the better imo. Overall, the upgrade is great.

The Nation
I like!Andrea has some nice kicks. Now only if the raptors got rid of that butt splash on their shorts, and reebok made their jerseys cut similar to the nike SOD...then you would have one of the nicest all inclusive (logo, jerseys, arena) looking teams in all of sports.....imo. Prior to your comment, I hadn't even seen the new OKC Thunder jerseys so I didn't understand the reference. But after seeing the new Thunder duds, I see can see the comparison. SLAM
They should've kept the red baselines sidelines.
NYCdog
I like!I don't. It's the same design as the current Houston Rockets court, except for black wordmarks on the baseline and a circle at centre court. And the Rockets court is a red copy of the Suns old court. And so is the Bobcats. The same areas are stained and painted. If you're gonna do a two-toned court, can't you atleast switch up something. Atleast the Cavs did (despite it being a half-assed attempt)
ctk
i hate minimalist non-painted courts. they remind me of high school gyms and holiday college tournaments in exotic locations.you are a professional franchise. your floor should not look so amateur. MVP
The live area of the court itself looks fantastic. Meanwhile, the out-of-bounds area looks horrible. Red sidelines and white with black stroked wordmark would be much better.
the admiral
Guys, it's not that good. It's just another entrant in the parade of unpainted two-stained courts. Big deal. The Raptors' visual identity does nothing for me. It's kind of a mess. They have that useless recolored logo that doesn't even get used anywhere, and the new claw logo is gimmicky and has way too much negative space, while neglecting to have either "Toronto" or "Raptors" in it anywhere. I don't know. I kind of wish they had stuck with purple and red and made that color pairing their own. Didn't have to be the exact same pantone values, and they didn't need those stupid black backs on the road jerseys, but they should have done something with purple and red so that they have that association, which isn't even a terrible one, all to themselves. Green: Celtics. Yellow: Lakers. Unless the Raptors have six world championships and the legacy of the greatest player ever that they're too politely Canadian to brag about, they're not the definitive Red & Black Team in this league. tBBP
These types of minimalist court designs keep up, and someone somewhere is going to have to come up with a new terminology for "in the PAINT".Like someone else said before..."remember paint? Paint was cool...I liked paint."(The former ramper in me wonders if NBA teams are having the same issues with paint that the airline industry has...can they just not afford the stuff no more???)
