New Pepsi products logos in the works

I haven't seen the other brands, just Pepsi. I think the marketing campaign is great, and the design itself is different enough to stand out. But I still don't see a smile in the logo, it just looks like an awkward variant of the original logo, and this is where I think it fails.

I have seen the Tropicana orange juice packaging, and it's a pain in the ass trying to read the labels to get the specific version I want.

o/t, but at what point does everybody (Pepsico execs included) realize that "Mountain Dew" is a ridiculous name for a carbonated beverage? I mean seriously - dew?

The Fierce and G2 bottles look horrible with the letters and numbers stacked on top of each other like that. Not to mention, at first glance you wouldn't even realize the middle bottle is a bottle of Fierce.

This doesn't bug me nearly as much as the Pepsi ones.

you know i was actually looking for the Gatorade Fierce and spent 5-10 minutes looking for it. I gave up figuring they discontinued it.

Forget about Gatorade.

is my drink of choice. It's made with lightning - REAL lightning.

The gatorade XFactor label used to be cool, and then it got downgraded, and now even downgraded even more.

I'm not a fan of the "Be Tough" business on there, but I love the simplicity of the label.

In fact, Pepsi's new packaging in general is really, really nice. I'm still not diggin' the 3 separate Pepsi logos, but the packaging is awesome.

Anybody see
new Gatorade commercial? There are also several other variations of it. I think it is pretty good, but I find it funny they never mention or display the word "Gatorade" just "G". I would say this is a bad idea because people who don't know they switched would be like "WTF is this?".

It's called a "teaser" campaign, and it's been used for years and years.

The "G" is making numerous appearances in Chicago, on top of taxicabs.

The new Pepsi logo serving as the "O" in words is plastered up and down the Clark/Lake L station. A bit north, near the Chicago/Franklin Brown Line stop, a wall of a building has the "G" everywhere, along with the trite sayings like "BrinG It" and "Be TouGh."

Upon seeing both, I can't help but think Pepsi got a two-for-one special from their ad agency. The campaigns are incredibly similar.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.
