KDubK414 Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 With all these new stadiums and arenas being construced recently, I've been noticing trends and was thinking "what the new trends would be in the next round of stadia construction?" What I did here in my first part of this ongoing project was create a cross section of a sideline of an indoor arena adding elements from outdoor stadiums. Arenas all basicly share the same kinda structure. So to make this one different I borrowed from their outdoor cousins. The overhangs in the bowl seating were definatly borrowed from most if not all baseball stadiums, and some from football as well. On the main level I added a 360 degree rink court view which I stole from my home team's stadium and others that have added it as well. The last trend is the addition of "rinkside/court view suites and club seating. This concept I blantantly ripped off from the new Cowboys stadium being built.
