I would think 2011 would go to the Mets or Washington, with 2013 going to the Dodgers after they've finished renovations in 2012, and then in 2015 going to the Mets or Washington whichever loses on 2011.

But Arizona ('98) has yet to host one, and you also have new parks in Philly ('96), Cincy ('88), and San Diego ('92) that also deserve a game. Of course, they have to WANT one as well...

Also, Florida and Tampa have never hosted a game in their existence...though obviously they're not high on the list of venues, nor have I ever heard about a potential bid from those two...

2009 - St. Louis

2010 - Los Angeles of Anaheim

2011 - Arizona

2012 - Kansas City

2013 - New York (Mets)

2014 - Minnesota

2015 - Washington

Well, I guess it's all a moot point, huh?

Nothing beyond 2010 is official, unless I missed something...

While you are right nothing is official beyond 2010, I made the list base on several articles. I just added Washington because I think they should get it in 2015.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins say they'll make a push to host the 2014 All-Star Game in their new stadium.

Twins officials and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak said Wednesday that the Twin Cities area showed it could handle a major event with last week's Republican National Convention.

The Twins are due to open a new ballpark in 2010 in downtown Minneapolis.

The 2009 All-Star Game is in St. Louis, and the Los Angeles Angels will host the 2010 game. Arizona is the expected host in 2011, Kansas City in 2012 and the New York Mets' Citi Field in 2013.

Personally, and slightly because I'm a Sox fan, Fenway deserves to host the All-Star Game that year. It will be the first Major League park that has survived 100 years. It will be a year long celebration and MLB should take full advantage of it. I understand that Boston hosted back in 1999 but this is a once (maybe twice should Wrigley continue striving) occurance that should be embraced and acknowledged throughout baseball. Fenway 2012, Wrigley 2014!

Thoughts? Objections?

i like that idea for Fenway in 2012 and Wrigley in 2014.

so long and thanks for all the fish.

There have been reports of Phoenix, Arizona being the host for the 2011 All-Star game as they have made a bid last year for the game and is expected to be announced when they announce 2011

I actually agree that the Red Sox should host the 2012 All-Star game and the Cubs for 2014. They have the honor to have two of the oldest ballparks in the league. And unlike the old ballparks that are lost, the fans are still packing the stands to the gills and there's no need to replace them.

As for future ASG's, here's what I would do until 2019:

2009: St. Louis

2010: Anaheim

2011: Washington

2012: Boston

2013: Kansas City

2014: Chicago Cubs

2015: Philadelphia

2016: Minnesota

2017: Phoenix

2018: Oakland

2019: Cincinnati (to honor the 150th Anniversary of the original Cincinnati Red Stockings of 1869)
