Group Project: NFL Reserve Division

^ your right, it doesn't really matter, but my initial idea was to place each team someplace that has lots of fans of the parent team, but far enough away where they don't get to go to the NFL games very often, thus giving them a chance to see some live action directly related to their favorite team.

Well, here's mine the Columbus Browns (I know, I'm creative ):

Here's what I'd do: Call them the Columbus Bulldogs, use the bulldog logo on the helmet, get rid of the overuse of striping on the jerseys and change the numbers on the brown jerseys from orange to white. I'd also go with a regular browns helmet but put the bulldog on the sides because that's what everyone has been wanting to see for a long time, a logo on that orange browns helmet.

And regarding the Des Moines being New Orleans affiliate being too far away, the Toronto Blue Jays AAA affiliate is the Las Vegas 51s so its not unheard of to have your affiliate on the other side of the continent.

Well, the only reason that happened is with everyone switching affiliates that already existed some east coast team would get screwed with a west coast team. If you're creating a new league, then you make it close.

p.s.: Just wanted to say I am keeping the full name on the front because i am going for the "high school" look. I know on my team that has very classic jerseys with the names on the front we talk about how we are playing for our school and that if we ever forget to just look down. And kind of team is the kind i am going for in this concept

Not to sound obnoxious or anything, but couldn't you just have the city name (or nickname, for that matter) and still have that same effect of "who we're playing for?" Makes absolutely no sense to me, and to be honest just looks amatuerish. This is an NFL affiliate, not a high school. Just sayin'.
