Neon_Matrix
Seriously, Habs fans should clue in that they ARE NOT WATCHING SOCCER and should find a chant which is appropriate to the sport they are watching. And when the hell did people actually become Kovalev fans again? Last I was seeing/reading was that the fans wanted him gone. This game was a joke. Kovalev should not have been a starter. He was not the MVP. I'd have given it to Thomas or someone who actually did something. If only the NHL will kiss Toronto's ass in the same fashion in 2017. DEAD!
All of the Ovie love... I just want to kill myself.Crosby couldn't hold Ovechkin's jock. And neither of them could hold Bobby Orr's...That's because Bobby Orr didn't wear a jock .... and Habs fans cheering a Bruin goaltender's save?... that's just wrong I saw, I came, I left. Whats he supposed to do, play :censored:ty so the NHL doesnt want him anymore? He just goes out there and does his thing, he doesnt ask for the attention. And no, all of the NHL doesnt love crosby. Ovechkin is selling a lot better now, but Crosby is still the player of choice. Take my word on this, kids and teens primarily love Crosby, but it seems that people of every age still do. I thought you were being a little light hearted too. My bad. And Montreal does not respect the game. If they did, they'd still show support even when their team isn't making the playoffs or struggling to win during the season. That does not show a city which truly respects the game. It shows a city which only cares about winning and decides to pretend the child doesn't exist when it happens to be struggling. There's also the argument that packing the stadium, results be damned, sends the message to management that a competitive team doesn't need to be put together - the fans will show up with open wallets, regardless. Leafs fans selling out the joint night after night for a 12th-place team is, in a way, enabling ownership to rest on its haunches, and ensure non-competitiveness for future seasons. It's probably worth noting that, within five years, the team with the longest Cup drought in the NHL will be in the city where the Cup resides for the majority of the year.
