The_Admiral
Tony Dungy wasn't known for throwing temper tantrums or yelling in his players' faces like a drill sergeant. Pretty sure Tony Dungy cared about his job a lot. How about Bill Belichick? I get that it makes fans feel better when the coach is as visibly angry about things going awry as the fans are. That's part of why Ditka was so popular; that's why Mike Singletary is going to be popular. I don't put much stock into coaches' in-game demeanors. It's pretty immaterial and subject to the whims of sportswriters. If the Jets were winning, Mangini and Herm would be lauded for their unflappable calmness under pressure, rather than not showing enough frustration or whatever. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
