habsfannova
Heatley deserved to be in the All-Star game for a reason.2001-02 Atlanta Thrashers NHL 82 26 41 67 56 2002-03 Atlanta Thrashers NHL 77 41 48 89 58 2003-04 Atlanta Thrashers NHL 23 8 12 20 12Those stats smell over-ratedFormer #2 pick and Calder Winner and ya the Hat Trick in All-Star Game getting him MVP. Oh ya he did have the car crash over the summer comes back and has 20 pts already...........I can hear everyone chatting overrated.Gretzky is the greatest player of all-time. Records that won't be broke ever. He broke all of Howe's records. Of course he broke all of Howe's records. HE DIDN"T HAVE TO FACE THE BEST 5 GOALIES IN THE LEAGUE EVERY NIGHT OR THE BEST 30 DEFENSEMEN IN THE LEAGUE! Howe's numbers are even better then Gretzky's if you count the WHA.Plus, even though he may have less goals playing in a much harder era to score, he was actually A FORCE ON DEFENSE. He could fight, get involved in anything, help keep goals from being scored. He was an ALL AROUND player, not an offense only threat. And this is not even getting into Bob Orr or Mario Lemieux (More points per game).
-kj
Of course, we know the WHA was where all the talent was......... Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! habsfannova
Yeah, but the 801 was mostly with the Original 6.He has over 1000 counting the WHA, but I'm not saying the league was near the NHL in talent, though it did get close near the end. Nick 1733
OK bringing up the subject of quarterbacks expected to live up to the legends they replaced.Dan Marino replaced by Jay Fiedler - Fiedler is a pretty good quarterback and no one seems to notice because they had Marino and they expect him to be just as good, NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, Marino was and is the greatest pure passing QB's of all time.Joe Montana and Steve young replaced by Jeff Garcia - you people have to remember Garcia wasn't drafted, and he tried his best to make something out of nothing (the 49er offense), and did a pretty good job for a while, until he was injured last season.John Elway replaced by Brian Griese - total and complete BUST, Griese is an ok quarterback at best, yes he can pull out games sometimes, but he has a fear of making mistakes, which causes him to make more, then in comes Jake Plummer, supposed to be our savior and he would have been if he hadn't broken his foot, Denver probably would have won the West, beaten the Ravens, Patriots and Vikings, which would have put them a #1 seed overall because they would have beaten the Packers too and not rested the entire team. Look for him to make a big impact next year, Plummer, Garcia and Fiedler are all UNDERRATED! MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs
