I was looking at the other AHL jersey's this season and I noticed that the Binghamton Senators use a different logo for the home and road.

Their old one is on the white jersey and their red jerseys have the Senator head ( that I think someone on this board designed ).

Has a hockey team ever had two different primaries at the same time?

It's funny, they used his logo for one weekend, then 10 dates or so, now its half the season.

By next year I'm sure it will be in full use. That has to be the slowest transition ever!

Allow me to introduce you to the Ottawa Senators.

And while the new B-Sens logo is definitely better than that poorly-drawn cartoon, part of me still can't get past the fact that it was done by a total dickbag.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Yeah really, have you ever met the dickbag? or spoken to him? Wow, I didn't think this forum was so harsh.

Well....I do know he was banned, and not for having multiple accounts (at first).

What do the 5 stars stand for again? Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Hampton, and Newport News?

It is a rank marking just like a 5-star general might be in the other armed services.

A five-star Fleet Admiral grade is reserved for war-time use only, the grade of admiral is considered to be the highest appointment an officer can achieve in these three services (Navy, Coast Guard, PHSCC)

We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.

Living in Virginia Beach most of my life, I have had the pleasure of watching quite a few Admirals games. Back in their heyday in the ECHL, coached by John Brophy, winning three Riley/Kelly Cups (I watch them win the third one). A lot of history in that uniform pictured above. They never ever should have changed it. Sure, every team eventually changes, and I know when the team was absorbed into the AHL it was inevitable, but if the team goes back to this (and there was a blue version for the road games back then), it will remind the old timers of the glory days of yesteryear and bring the blue and gold to a whole new generation.....well at least if they change parent clubs :P . In fact, I followed most of the old Admirals careers closely after moving away here to Pittsburgh. The Admirals were a key reason I am a devout hockey fan today. I had no idea the possibility of using this logo and uniforms was out there, but now that they are actually wearing them, I hope they go back to them full time.

Yes, for it to represent the "Hampton Roads" area (which was the teams original name, the Hampton Roads Admirals), there would have to be 7 stars, representing the 7 cities making up what is considered the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The five you listed along with Chesapeake and Suffolk.
