patsox
I saw that logo once too and I believe it was a few years ago. Take that fwiw.
DelayedPenalty
I think the orange and blue they have now IS the redesign. I remember seeing that other Lids logo briefly when they opened one in...can't remember which mall it was, in Jackson, MI I think? It's now orange and blue like the rest. Maybe they're just behind the times in Fresno.
DDR
The second logo has been around for some time now. That's the signage I remember from going to the mall in high school (some 7-8 years ago).

Definitley not new or even recent. It may have even been the logo when it was known as "Nothing But Lids", before shortening to just "Lids". Gothamite
I'm pretty sure the store in LaGuardia airport still has the old logo. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

DelayedPenalty
That top picture has to be the biggest Lids I've seen. All the ones around here are in the tiniest slots in the mall. I can stand in the middle of the one in Ann Arbor, turn in place and see everything (except for the NewEra wall where all the "gangsters" are hanging out!). oddball
When I saw possible Lids rebrand, I was expecting to come in here and see a "Gangsta" logo with some guy with bling wearing a "mlb" cap in some ridiculous color and Lids would now be called Gangsta. Everytime I walk by a Lids, I just shake my head and think, "Are you kidding me? Who gave the 3 year old a crayon? Who wears this crap?" Seriously, I walked by one about a month and a half ago and saw Sesame Street face hats, and I thought, "Are we really that desperate to stand out?" It's not the stores fault that idiots decide what's fashionable. They're just making a profit off of the customers idiocy, if you want to call it that. Bmac
We have had that logo at stores here in Omaha for many years now. For at least 7 years. Maybe more. https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043

Arts11
Yeah, I think that script logo may have come first. I remember seeing it at an outlet mall before seeing the current one.

Maybe the two glass walls are throwing you off? All the Lids' I've seen have had hats on at least three walls. In this case, it looks like there's only one wall, and it looks like it's behind the cash register.
