okay, so i have made a couple of changes to some of the south african logos.

i was pretty pleased with the sharks logo so ive left that as is, the stormer has a slight alteration and

i have reworked the cheetahs concept so that the logo better resembles the free state currie cup logo.

I love the look of these, how did you create that effect?

i did it in adobe after effects (animation program) , but you could possibly recreate this in photoshop i think?

its done as follows

* the logos are multiplied onto a cotton texture.

* added some mud to make it look a little more authentic.

* a displacement map is used to create the wave across the fabric.

* the wave pattern for this (just a blurred ripple wave like that from a drop of water) is overlaid to give slight highlight/lowlight to the material.

* lights added (one spot/ one ambient) to create the vignette look.

* camera added to give the dynamic angle.

* depth of field turned on a focus pulled on centre of logo so the rest is blurred.

* a grade added with a diffusion pass, a colour vignette, a full neg bleach, a gamma auto shoulder and some film grain.

* another grade with just a swing tilt filter on.

that sounds very complicated but im sure you could do that with photoshop.

if i get a chance today, i will upload something to show the process and perhaps one of the photoshop

guys can translate that into something intelligible.
