In addition, here are the Textile/Fabric differences:

Note the Pantone Textile color description for the Dolphins' Aqua ("Teal Green").

Of course, "ocean depths" are the first things I think of when I imagine big cats in an inland city...

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

The Pantone Textile color names aren't created with the teams in mind - the teams use a different name for their own colors.

The textile color description for the Lions' "Honolulu Blue" is "Daphne".

Somehow Daphne seems a better name for a color on the Lions unis than Honolulu Blue.

They've been teasing the new uniform for over two years? :P

Are we supposed to pay attention to the poster on the door as the uni...or just a generic uni?

I would applaud them for going old-school if so.

No, the poster is in every NFL locker room. It's a uniform standards poster that put the uniform regulations in writing for every player to see.

And to be ignored by everyone.

But at least it's uniformly ignored by everyone.

Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. Knits Rockne made up George Tip's death bed speech.

So correct me if I am wrong, and I know it is just a teaser, but doesn't there appear to be 3 tones if you will on that jersey? The lightest tone being the name and number font, the darkest tone being the outline of the number font, and the middle tone being the jersey itself. That confirms Teal jersey, White numbers, Black outlines at least. I feel like we made some progress here today.

with all the talented people on this board I'd like to see if someone could blow up that picture of the billboard and lighten it up to get more details out of it. Did'nt someone do that on here when the Vikings did the same thing.

Not sure it would help... doesn't seem to be much to see (at least from this view).
