OnWis97
So their primary color at home is teal and their primary color on the road is black? patsox
Well, you can say they look like Under Armour made them. You could also look like XFL uniforms. But guess what? I love them. They are unique and no one else in the NFL has uniforms or helmets that look like that. Well done, Jags. Great update.Oh, and I REALLY love the helmets. It totally solves the "Is our main color black or teal?" conundrum. Its extraordinarily "out-there", but I believe that it's an extremely innovative idea. The Jags may have officially claimed the "Oregon Ducks of the NFL" title with this move, too...and I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing. So their primary color at home is teal and their primary color on the road is black?OK, so maybe they're the Boston Red Sox of the NFL. Yeah I didn't get that, especially as the owner said that one of the reasons for the change was to make the team more identifiable. I haven't noticed any claw marks on the numbers, njmeadowlanders. AAO
Definite downgrade. As the old saying goes, if it ain't.....i won't even bother. What's done is done, and not for the better. FiddySicks
Ouch, these are amazingly bad. It's Missouri on crack, stripped down naked and dragged through a bucket of teal paint. uniguy22
At least they're going to wear the teal jerseys every home game. There not good but their much better than the new road uniforms.
Delux247
Anyone have a good shot of the pants' piping or helmet? Jerseys are for sure a downgrade because it moved far towards the generic end of the spectrum.
sigepraider
Am I the only one that likes the new uniforms more than the old ones? For what it worth, I think I like the new ones better as well, Im not a huge fan and I dont think its a huge upgrade by any means, but I like them better than the old set. I have heard it time and time again that people think that sleeve stripes dont work in the NFL anymore because of the lack of sleeves by many of the players, so I think its nice to see a team embrace that idea. I personally dont like the piping or stripes or whatever you want to call that, but its new and different. The jersey's themselves are clean (with the exception of the Jacksonville Jaguars below the neck) and simple and make the old jerseys look really cluttered, although granted put any jerseys next to the new ones and they would look cluttered. Plus my biggest gripe against the old set were the stripeless black pants, which now have a (sort of) stripe. So yes, I like them, but I was never a big fan of the old set anyway so take that for what you will.
mcrosby
I like the simplicity of it, and of course the promise of 8 teal games a year. I do wish they would have included more gold while keeping it simple. The helmet appears to be well done, again more teal=more good. In summation, simple is good, but too much of anything (simplicity included) is no good. https://twitter.com/OutOfThisWC
uniguy22
You say you like teal jerseys at home? Well, you?re gonna like ?em eight games a year because team owner Wayne Weaver announced at today?s uniform unveiling that the team will wear teal jerseys and white pants for all home games. What about the heat? No need to worry because the new fabric will make the uniforms 30 percent lighter and 10 percent cooler.Do you think the Jags are wearing the new jersey type that the Packers were testing and we saw some of the Giants wear? Korkie
Wow, I already miss the old number font and Jaguar on the sleeve. They should have just stuck with the old jerseys and empisized wearing teal at home and everyone wins. Massive downgrade. Jezus_Ghoti
Big downgrade. From a distance, the road uniforms look completely black and white. Awful. The worst thing for me, though, is that they are keeping the black socks with the black pants. It seems like teams just aren't going to realize how bad that looks.
