Saintsfan
Wow it seems like the criticism of these unis is getting more and more shrill, pretty soon someone will be claiming that Hitler designed them or something. FWIW I don't think that the unis themselves are THAT bad. My only real problem is the inconsistency in color between the home and road unis. I'd like to see them in game action mind. 2011/12 WFL Champions

IMO teams like the Falcons would look SWEET with red flake on their helmets. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) I'm more than certain this new jersey "cut"/template/whatever-you-wanna-call-it could have been altered a little bit to accomodate these behemoths of men so that those goofy "swooshes" (and btw, those are NOT stripes--they are SWOOSHES) coulda still worked as planned on the drawing board. This is just half-ass here. BBTV
I've been trying to keep pace with this thread, so I apologize for this remark in advance if it's already been discussed....No more black alternate jerseys?Nope. According to the team, the point of this was to establish an identity, by having only one home and one road uniform, with no mixing and matching.I think the consensus is that they failed, and would have had more of an identity had they just kept the old set and done away with the black jerseys and the mix-and-match pants. Brian in Boston
Somebody already did a mock-up a couple pages back that basically changed a couple small details and suddenly the uniforms are absolutely stunning."Absolutely stunning", huh? We'll have to agree to disagree. Even with the changes on display in that mock-up, the Jaguars' new uniforms are an abysmal downgrade. Bottom line? Change for the sake of change rarely results in success. Jacksonville's new uniforms are a sterling example of said credo.

patsox
There's absolutely nothing wrong with these uniforms, that's not even being biased.I wouldn't even bother. It's not worth it. You and I are of the of the minority opinion and if we keep saying we like these they're just going to try and beat us into forum submission. Minority opinions are often not welcome here as I have found out in my time here.
WD1983
There are SO many things wrong with this set...The removal of the gold/tan was a huge mistake.Too much black on the away set, the numbers should be teal and outlined in black and/or gold/tan.The stripes/piping is poorly done and too University of Miami for me.The number font looks like some sort of block hybrid which just doesn't work (see Patriots). Pretty much like I'm starting to think this whole "re-brand" is.And this is coming from a devout Jaguar fan.Let me also add this piece: those pants, whatever they're made of, look absolutely hideous without pads in them...and we all know rarely if ever anymore do NFL players actually wear their thigh and knee pads in their pants. And again, all that flat half-charcoal-looking black next to that newfangled sparkly glistening gleaming shiny new helmet is just...ugh. And I like the helmet (although the facemask treatment was unnecessary). *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
Ballinology
These uniforms are fine, I don't know what the big deal is. They will look good on the field when their wearing the helmets. They got simplicity because that's what they wanted. There's nothing on the sleeves because Wayne Weaver felt the players have them rolled up anyways to even see anything. Whether this is true or not who cares, the logos the same, the wordmark looks good, and the helmet is sick so I'm happy. So I really don't care if I'm the only one that likes them because nothing is worse then The Titans. Their numbers look like their from Star Trek. I like them too. I think the simplistic look looks astounding and I have no doubt that they will look great when the Jags take the field in September. TheAK47
Yeah I'm gonna have to go with the minority here, I like these. Those helmets are ridiculous (in a good way), but Bucco is right, they should have left the treatment off of the facemasks.
