Billsballerc
Hey guys, I have been working on a somewhat new Marlins logo. I took part of the current logo and made some changes to it. I changed the shape of the teal stripe of the Marlin. I also tried to make the eyes and mouth a little more aggressive looking. Also inside of the Dorsal fin MIAMI is hidden as ridges. I also decided to put the Marlin in some water to give it a fresh look instead of in a circle. I would love some feedback on this and appreciate what suggestions i get. Thanks, ChrisGO MARLINS!!!http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k246/bil.../Picture139.jpghttp://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k246/bil.../Picture140.jpg(update)Tell me what you think of the changes i made. Thanks!
elliott
Good start, but the biggest problem I see is the lack of a fin in the belly region. Like near lower silver region. Also, it looks like it is emerging from like oil or something. It doesn't look too much like water. Good drawing though. And the miami in the top fin is pretty clever. Dribbble ... Billsballerc
so are you saying maybe i should try switching the black with the teal as far as the water goes. cause that could work. I also see what you mean about the fin on the bottom. Thanks for the comments.

The sublte Miami on the fin is really cool.
Billsballerc
Yeah i know what you mean about the black water. It just kinda fit the rest of the logo so i ran with it. and thank you for the drawing compliment.
groundhog
i like your splash of water. it looks exactly like the alternate logo for the 2007 all star game in San Francisco.http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=j7cz6x7iqwwgn8d5pgj8
jetsfan98
I couldn't draw something like that to save my life! Great job. Don't you want the JOJ?

He might have gotten some inspiration from it, if anything. The two logos are really not that similar, lets not start jumping to conclusions here.As for the Marlin, I think it looks very awkward without a fin on the belly. That is about the only gripe I have, this is a very good start and could turn out to be a very nice looking logo.
AsM29
I wouldn't say the splash is exactly the same, but the rendering is. I don't really see a big problem with it though.
