When seeing the rings side by side I don't mind the all diamond Penguin.

That ring is still HUGE.

I said the same thing to their Equipment Manager last night on Twitter.

Love it. Simple, but awesome.

If Yankees win, they are putting a thumbs down in it somewhere, no?

Please God don't let this happen, but the best move IMO would be to have them all fitted for thumbs.

Very nice ring. What does the XVH on the side mean?

Found this.....

Quote

The Roman numerals "XVI-I" -- to represent Golden State's playoff record

 also..

There are 36 princess blue sapphires to represent the number of Warriors' home wins last season, while the 31 white trapezoid diamonds represent the team's away wins. On top of the ring, there are 83 diamonds that represent the Warriors' total number of regular season and playoff wins combined.

Good job to that guy only sort of blocking out the name...

Alert. Looks to be a fake 1955 Yankees salesman sample ring on ebay. Balfour markings look bad and the row of stars is missing from the top hat. Be careful.

Just in time for the Super Bowl is a real interesting Super Bowl Ring from last year that is up for auction.  This ring comes from a member of Tom Bradys family as it was ordered as an extra ring.  I am sure lots of people will be interested to see how well it does.

Wow, what a ring!

Looks like the player version, but it contains 260 diamonds compared to the player's 283 diamonds.  Also, at 77.3 grams, the Brady Super Bowl ring is about 25% smaller than the player version.

You wonder why a "Tom Brady" family member would sell the ring, and if anymore are out there, and if other players got 25% smaller family rings as well.

Guys - please limit this to championship ring and ring design discussion instead of linking to any ring auction sites. Thank you.

Will do, but would you please reconsider your stance for three reasons?  And if you disagree, I will honor your request.

1)  The Patriots redesigned the offered ring as an almost exact reproduction of the player design, just scaled down 20-25%.  This re-design is noteworthy and highly unusual, so as a discussion on design, it merits mention.

2)  The recent post about a fake Yankee ring, and my adding that the Brady ring is a redesign and smaller than the player version, is a huge help to your readership - helping them avoid getting ripped off, and adding value to your forum.

3)  There is so little activity in this ring section - asking for less contributions that may stray from the core subject of this forum only hurts your readership and activity.  Is that what you really want - less activity?

Thanks for all the work you do and for providing this forum - I don't mean any disrespect and will honor your decision and wishes.
