I believe, short of carrying a jersey with no name attached, the Rangers didn't really have an option, unlike the Nationals, where all of this happened at home games.

This was a road game, in extra innings, where using the pitcher a mere hour or so after he reaches the city was a necessity, largely due to a reliever injuring himself earlier in the night.

Back on topic, so far this has been a very odd baseball season in general and uniform related. But my god the NOB font for Texas is atrocious.
