KevinMcD
Yea, I knew he had cancer, like other Bills great Joe Ferguson, sad time for the Bills family. Kemp, Lou Saban, Joe Ferguson with cancer, and Ralph Wilson's daughter just died of cancer last week.

tp49
Jack Kemp had class. Plain and simple. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times when I worked in Washington and he was always fun to talk to. However, he did something for a friends dad that really showed what kind of person he was. My friend's dad played for the Bills at one point in time and needed a heart transplant. His doctor sent a letter to the team which went to each of the alumni. Jack Kemp was the one who led the effort (along with the Wilson family) to raise money to help fund this transplant. No one asked Jack to do it, but he did. My friend's dad had his heart transplant on September 11, 2001. ESPN and The Sporting News did a story on the circumstances surrounding the heart getting from Boston to the hospital in NYC that day. It is a miracle that my friend's dad is alive today and Jack Kemp played a role.

How did Clinton rig the 1996 election?because cliton didn't rig the election, the R's in full glory put forth a candidate and gave the election to clinton. unless the r's aren't cheating, they can't win office. DEAD!
He would have made a great Vice President if Clinton Did not rig the 1996 election!OK...I'm game. How did Clinton rig the 1996 election?I think there wa a misunderstanding. He used his "rig" during the 1996 erection..Anyways, so long to the only championship QB in Bills history. Ok, they did have Drew Bledsoe...

And I always thought pretty well of Kemp. As someone that almost always prefers a "D" to an "R", Kemp was definitely one of my favorite "Rs". He was a reasonable guy and I could have lived with him winning in 1988
