Drew22
http://www.onmilwaukee.com/sports/articles...card051609.htmlThe Brewers are only wearing the "retro" jerseys on the first Friday of every month and the players aren't complaining. They don't really like the getups. Rumor has it that in the reasonably near future the team may switch back to a road jersey that says "Milwaukee."I hope this happens. I like when teams wear the city names on the roads. Eagles/Heels/Dawgs/Falcons/Hawks
Gothamite
I'm pretty sure the deadline for next season's uniforms has passed. So if they're doing it, it's already official.I'm in favor of it. But if they are to make tweaks (and not the complete overhaul I want), they shouldn't stop there: The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. FiddySicks
And to think only a year ago there was a HUGE push to bring the retros back full time. Talk about a fall from the top. BallWonk
Also, would that make MLB 30-for-30 with city names? Given of course that Texas now counts for 2 and "Phillies" is just using the city name as a nickname, so a road jersey that says "Phillies" effectively is a city name. So if the Cardinals finally switch, MLB will be 31-for-30, unless I'm forgetting some other nickname-on-road team.

BBTV
Well this ruins the unveiling of my newest concept...Why do I get the feeling that your "newest concept" has been posted around here around two dozen times already? Also, I think the "Larry King Lounge" took this word for word from Monday's uniwatch (without giving credit it appears.) Gothamite
And to think only a year ago there was a HUGE push to bring the retros back full time. Talk about a fall from the top. They're still selling the retro stuff like crazy, by all anecdotal evidence. They'll keep them as an occassional alt just to keep them on shelves.Frankly, I really want a uniform change, and not to the retro alts. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. They'll keep them as an occassional alt just to keep them on shelves.Frankly, I really want a uniform change, and not to the retro alts. That's an insanely good uniform concept. Could whoever made it, cough cough, please put the same degree of thought, passion, and care into making a new uniform set for the Nationals, then invent a groundbreaking new consumer product that earns them at least $500 million in cash, then use $50 million to hire ninjas to assassinate the entire ownership group of the Nationals and then the rest of the money to buy the Nationals? Because that's what it's gonna take for the Nats to get uniforms that don't suck, and frankly the Nats need new unis a lot more than the Brewers do, what with the Brewers already looking pretty good. And right: I forgot about the Angels and Rays. So if Milwaukee switches, MLB will be 28-for-30 with city names on jerseys, since Texas now counts twice. Look instead for unis to ship without either the G or the R. Personally, if I had the money to buy the Nats but somehow had managed to make all that money while still being stupid enough to think that buying the Nationals was a good idea, I would keep the name but model the unis after the look of the Grays, complete with "NATS" in giant Grays-style letters across the chest at home. Plus pretty much exactly the color scheme and stripe patterns in the Brewers concept linked above, plus navy pocket flaps.
CubsFanBudMan
I either forgot, or just noticed last night watching Brewers-Astros highlights, that Milwaukee is on the road sleeve. Of course, I think the front would be better, so it was nice to come here and see this today. Certainly more prominent and not as likely to slip my mind.
