Nesi427
I played with the addresses and found these:No Angels gear though... FANTASY SPORTS: UBA (NBA): New York Scrapers | CL (MLB): St Pete Beach Clippers
powersurge
HA! They have no confidence in the Angels, huh?It looks like its merely a matter of time I guess. It would be cool to see them come from behind and slay the mighty Yankees, but that would be asking a lot now wouldn't it?
BallWonk
HA! They have no confidence in the Angels, huh?It looks like its merely a matter of time I guess. It would be cool to see them come from behind and slay the mighty Yankees, but that would be asking a lot now wouldn't it?If I ran the MLB website, I would have merch staged but "invisible" -- which in most content management systems really means "visible only if you play around with the URL" -- as soon as any team came within one game of clinching. That way, the moment the third out is made, you're ready to turnkey the new merch. It's not about a lack of confidence in the team that's behind; it's just a matter of being prepared in case the team on the verge of clinching does so. My guess is that if the Angels win Saturday and tie the series at 3-3, sometime before the start of Game 7, the same URL trick would show Angels WS gear. But that's a big if. The fact that a Democrat is president all but guarantees that the Yankees will go to the World Series, and probably win it. Still, go Halos! BBTV
The Phillies are using a "NLCS Champions" logo on their website. I think it's flash or something, so I can't post it.While it looks OK, I think the concept is dumb. I get "World Series Champions" instead of just "World Champions", but the National League isn't an all-encompassing entity, so I think they should just go with "National League Champions", or "NL Champions", instead of "National League Championship Series Champions". gEO 3b 4
This might not be the right thread for this, but it's the most relevant thread at the moment. But does anyone notice that most of the Yankees aren't wearing the hats with the inaugural season patch on the back tonight? Just the regular silhouette logo. elsephen
Eh... these logos are typically boring and nothing changed this year. Guess it doesn't matter much- my team won't have any merchandise featuring it. This one is better than last years- but that's just because of less ugly colors and a more modern font. FiddySicks
Yankee hats will indeed have both patches on them.If that's really the case, I'm DEFINITELY ordering one, just for the sheer ridiculousness of it. CDixonDesign
I expected the Phillips WS patch shown to be a little better quality, but it any case, didn't a few Yankees wear thier Inaugural patch with the ASG patch as well?
