mania
Do any MLB teams currently have piping on the collars or cuffs like these do(assuming the actual jerseys do, of course). If not, that might be in the works for next year's BP models. Off The Top Rope: A Pro Wrestling Podcast

BallWonk
Question:Are the graphics screened (or maybe even heat pressed)? They seem to have a sheen...But, then, what do I know....Looks like they're in the style of BP and replica jerseys that debuted this year: It's a heavy screen print onto a single layer of tackle-twill, complete with fake stitching, which is then stitched on to the jersey. Similar to what some NHL jerseys have been using for a few seasons now. And maybe by this time next year, I'll be ready to stop hating this new style of jersey lettering. McCall
I'm assuming light blue numbers for the National and red numbers for the Americans?More than likely white numbers for the National League, since "National" is white. The light blue is relagated to the sides and piping. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
soxkrazy
It's been almost three years, and I've tried to force myself to like the BP jerseys (and caps, too). Sadly, it's taken this amount of time (and several purchases later) to come to this conclusion: the side panels on both the jerseys and caps are ugly and pathetic, and it's time for a change! Sadly, it's taken this amount of time (and several purchases later) to come to this conclusion: the side panels on both the jerseys and caps are ugly and pathetic, and it's time for a change!Funny, after three years I've stopped thinking the side panels on the BP jerseys are ugly. Stupid, from a design standpoint, but not ugly. (The stupid being the thought process of "Let's put the contrasting-color focal point of the design on the one part of the jersey that's hardest to see!" which is just inexcusably inane. In a just world, the designer who came up with that idea would have his license revoked and never be allowed to design again.)What has come to bother me more about these jerseys in three years is the collar. The giant placket with only one button is ugly and pointless, and then the way that collar piping is handled, as in the NL version of the ASG jersey, just makes me want to cry. End the piping where the two sides of the collar meet, or run it all the way down the jersey as though it were full-button, but don't run it three inches down the placket and then stop. Makes it look like the jersey equivalent of those t-shirts with a tuxedo front screen printed on them.

Screened twill sucks. It looks cheap and tacky, and provides an excuse to lower quality without lowering price point. The stuff works out especially great for those who don't know better and put their jerseys in the dryer - everything starts cracking and fading after a few tumbles, to say nothing of its tendency to buckle. It hasn't been made to look any better since I first came across it on a Cincinnati Cyclones jersey 10 years ago - but at least I only paid $15 for that. The BP lettering is heat pressed with this sort of "fuzzy" border. It sounds like an odd description, but it isn't normal twill. Go Astros!Go Texans!Go Rockets!Go Javelinas! thespungo
http://thespungo.eamods.com/2009/06/05/all...te-approaching/I like how the All-Star jerseys usually take their cues from the host city, but I'm just not seeing that this year. I love the scripts because they're totally St. Louis inspired, but the jerseys don't seem right to me. The piping on the sleeves is inconsistent with the collar piping and I'm not sure I like the color choices beyond the primary red and navy.
