Bmac
On mlb.com, I was going through the possible logos available for use as an avatar, and I came across a Cleveland Indians script I had never seen before. It was under the section labeled "Retro". It is a tiny picture and it is really blury when blown-up, but here it is in it's original size: Does anybody know anything about it? https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
BBTV
Check Dressed to the Nines and see if it was an old jersey script. crashcarson15
Check Dressed to the Nines and see if it was an old jersey script.I'd guess it is b/c I have a retro Bob Feller shirt with a similar script. But the "I" looks different on this script IIRC.
oddball
It's the 1946-1949 script used on the jerseys. The only difference is that the bottom of the capital "I", in the Mark Okkonen book, it actually extends out so that it lines up on the left-hand side. mantleisthebest7
Looks like the one used in the late 1940's, think Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller, Larry Doby, etc. Here's what i'm talking about, hope this helps: Jimmy Eat World
Bmac
Sure enough it was used from 1946 to 1949. It looked kinda fimilar, but different to what I remembered. I only knew of the script with the I that they used today without the tail under the script. It was used from 1950 to 1957. Anyway, I thought it was a cool script and an interesting find. Thanks guys! https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
