slapshot
no, orange pants was more of an alternate they threw in sometimes. they even wore orange pants this year. they also went with monochrome in 2002 and before im pretty sureI'm almost positive that they didn't have orange pants last year. Credit to slapshot....After further review, god these are awful. In my mind, Oregon state would have almost perfect unis if they connected the damn stripe on the butt. And nike did it again here. Why? Just why? Aren't these people professional designers? Random gray in the numbers, leg script has gray that stays gray onto the roads when it should switch to orange, wordmark on chest of road, no wordmark on the chest of home, and why the f *** is there a swoosh with the wordmarks on the back of only ONE jersey? Where is the consistency? And even without these obvious flaws, the overall design is indescribably awful. That's the 2007 set. Not sure if the 2008 set was identical. But thanks for the plug Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016

oldschoolvikings
Geez, what is the recent Nike facination with silver on white details?I know there are posters who say we just rip on everything Nike does, but seriously? Its just all so WTF inducing, how can you not? http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
Sc8b
So when exactly did they wear the orange pants? Because I loved those (like a lot of other people) and I think of blue-white-orange when I think of their road uniforms. These new uniforms are just the worst. It's too simple in that they go monochrome for road and away and don't incorporate enough orange, but they are too cluttered in that they have stupid striping and those weird stripes on their butts. I didn't like the drop shadows on their old unis, but this is a downgrade in every way but that...
BBTV
The uniform wasn't perfect, but those colors absolutely were.Actually, I rather liked their use of the Broncos template, and I thought their numbers looked good too. I try to think of a college football team's recent "modernization" that Nike has actually pulled off well. I try but I fail. I hate meaningless piping, thus I hate any recent Nike design. andrewharrington
I actually like some of the elements of this set, something that I can't say for teams like Missouri, but they ruined it with some of the choices they made when applying the elements, like the gap in the buttstripe, the team name on the pants (never) and why the wraparound nameplate on the home while the road has the classic chest lettering? This would have been a really nice modern uniform if the buttstripe was continuous and both uniforms had chest lettering. Nike has solid ideas at times, but then takes everything too far. They're the Saturday Night Live of uniform designers. Captain Poncho
The uniform wasn't perfect, but those colors absolutely were.Actually, I rather liked their use of the Broncos template, and I thought their numbers looked good too. This combo is exactly what the Denver Broncos should break out on the road, including the orange side stripes on the away jersey. Great look.

Great look.I'd agree, except that it would require either solid orange pants, which I don't mind in NCAA, but I hate in NFL. CS85
While I like the idea, they could've done away with the bib at the back with the broncos nameplate beneath the numbers, I like the grey numerals, and actually don't mind the little script down the strange angle on the leg. It's a Nike College football thing, and we can't stop it so we might as well be glad that they didn't turn this into some oregon abomination designed by the players. FiddySicks
Now when Nevada gets run over by the Broncos like they do every year, at least they won't be the ugliest team on the field. tajmccall
I like these. If you're Boise State, you let Nike do whatever you want because uniforms do factor in to some kids decisions. I've heard interviews where kids say "It was 50/50, but I love Oregon's uniforms"Now, that leads me to the next point.Never let players design the jerseys.Case in point, your Cincinnati Bengals. Were they not happy with the royal & white they had, or were they anxious to jump on a "trend bandwagon" back in those days? I was always curious when they first did that. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
