Discrim
Aren't these kits called "guernseys" instead of "jumpers"?And where do the Hawks play their home fixtures?the terms tend to be interchangeable. BB61
And where do the Hawks play their home fixtures? We play our home at FDR Park in South Philly, across from the stadium complex. We play across from the skatepark that is under I-95.Our next home game is July 11th, though we do have a metro game this Saturday (don't know how many players we're going to get for that, though). ManCalledAmp
I've caught a few footy games on TV, and I kinda like the sport, I must say.My only nitpicks on the jumper is that the stripes are on the front of the shorts, but apparently not the back, and that the NOB is too small to be read easily.Good front image, numbers look solid, colors actually look very good (surprisingly)...and those socks are great. Very well done, Philly. Go Gators. Go Blue Raiders. Go Commodores. Go USC Trojans.Preds & Avs. Braves, Rays, & Dodgers. Titans, Colts, Broncos, Cardinals. Grizzlies. 14ers, Jam. Team Spirit + Laziness = Yay.
rmered
Aren't these kits called "guernseys" instead of "jumpers"?And where do the Hawks play their home fixtures?A guernsey is a specific type of jumper made on the Island of Guernsey. It is thicker weight, designed for people who went fishing. When footy guernseys were made in the form of a sleeveless guernsey jumper, I would suggest guernsey was correct.Jumper is the all encompassing word for what North Americans call a sweater.Given footy jumpers are made out of acryllic, and printed not dyed, I would suggest they no longer qualify to be called a Guernsey any more. That is what I called my site: www.footyjumpers.com Oh, and I've got a site.Footy Jumpers Dot Com
