oregon unveiling new uniforms tomorrow?

They are gaudy, but its Oregon.

LOVE that helmet (sans the corny GO OREGON GO DUCKS striping)

But the shoulder treatment is pretty effing awful. The diamond plate was worse, so i guess in their strange universe its an upgrade?

An Oregon coach's recruiting tool must be "at least once in your college career you'll get to model our new uniforms at a press conference!"

:D

I like them better than the Diamond plating, but the numbers are a problem and that helmet along with Jacksonville's new helmet is leading us down a path that I don't think we want to venture down with helmet designs.

I like the wing design on the jersey, a lot actually, but they completely ruin it with their colors. The primary away they showed with the green numbers, green pants, and white helmet looks fantastic. The primary home is pretty good, but would be a lot better if they wings were white or yellow. Having the silver wings is just too dark on the green jersey. The black alternate looks good, but doesn't have the school colors except a little yellow outline. The yellow alternate looks terrible. Bright yellow jersey, silver numbers, green wings, everything is a mess there. The alternate away looks good, very good actually, but once again doesn't use the school colors. This would be a great uniform if they only used the primary uniforms but there is no chance of that happening, so I'll just call it a big upgrade (which is not great praise considering I thought their prior uniforms were terrible.)

just ridiculous

Ditch all the steel numbers and pants and this set is amazing. I have to admit it, I love the helmet.

maybe for hawai'i, but it has nothing to do with Oregon. It is an awesome helmet and cool idea, but it just looks horrible with oregon.

Allow me to express my disappointment that the Emperor's New Clothes Gambit was not broken out.

The only thing I don't like is the silver numbers on the white jersey. I know, I know, half this board just had a heart attack that I only found one thing wrong. I have to admit, I only had a problem with the Ducks diamond plating as it just didn't make sense to me. The wings are cool and that silver helmet is just, well awesome! Yes, it is outlandish, but it works for me. I just wonder if they will ditch the silver numbered jerseys as I doubt anyone higher than the third row will be able to see the numbers well. Up close they're great, but far away especially with any sort of lighting on them, they are going to get lost.

hey here is some pics http://www.goducks.com/PhotoAlbum.dbml?ATC...p;PALBID=130143

About the unis tho.. Every year there is new unis and every year they fail, including this year. except for the carbon helmet. dont you think they could just find a nice classy design and settle on it for about 3 years

But waittt... you dont think this looks good?

Wings = cool, numbers are still the worst in college sports. Just a weird mix of crap otherwise.

"O" dear. That just... no. It out-Portland-States Portland State.

But then again, what should I expect? Oregon is, at this point, just like the concept cars at the auto show. It's where the designers throw together all their crazy ideas to see what sticks, with some of those ideas showing up in a toned-down form in other models down the line. And, as usual, Oregon has managed to stuff ten pounds of crazy into a 25% lighter sack. Still, I don't think it's too much to ask that a school's uniforms actually include the school's colors.

Wait... Is the O different colors on each side? Thats unnecessary.

But all in all, I hate to say it, but they don't look that bad. I wish they would've kept yellow and white pants instead of the gray. And I don't really like the lighter green with the dark green helmet. But to me, its a little better than their last set.
