Why is there no listings for the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball?

Recommended Posts

The American Association of Independent Professional Baseball has been around since 2006.

they've got ten teams in two divisions.

North:

Lincoln Saltdogs

Sioux City Explorers

Sioux Falls Canaries

St. Paul Saints

Wichita Wingnuts

South:

El Paso Diablos

Fort Worth Cats

Grand Prairie AirHogs

Pensacola Pelicans

Shreveport-Bossier Captains

could we possibly start adding some of these team logos?

lol, that's true. the league goes by "American Association" usually. Probably because the old minor league went defunct in the late 90's.

Also, a few of their teams have existed in other leagues before this one.

St. Paul and Fort Worth in particular.

Probably the same reason there's nothing for the Central Hockey League, among others.

Man, i just noticed that too!

Is there any particular reason these leagues have nothing up?

Is it just a lack of images on our part?

I am a season ticket holder for the Grand Prairie team in the AA.

I.. might volunteer to help gather stuff. >.>..

Yeah, I wish there was a page for the eight teams of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball:

Bridgeport Bluefish

Camden Riversharks

Lancaster Barnstormers

Long Island Ducks

Newark Bears

Somerset Patriots

Southern Maryland Blue Crabs

York Revolution

I have a few of those teams' vectors...I could help.

Heck, i found a team page for one of the current AA teams:

http://www.sportslogos.net/team.php?id=1434

They're not the EXACT same team (the one above moved to St. Louis) , but the current one has all the old logos and such.

The El Paso Diablos kept the chili logo but they recolorized it to black and red.

Oh yeah, go Explorers. We average about 50 fans a game.

Seriously. This is a great crowd for the Explorers-

For the record, the answer every time someone asks "why isn't this league on the site?" is "because i haven't gotten to it yet". There's no agenda or anything keeping any league off... except the English Premier League of course.

I could help out covering the Lincoln Saltdogs. I have a hat and they are just a city away...
