infrared41
Are you referring to the uniform or the player? They could certainly use both.
infrared41
And while we're at it...let me list a few of my own (none of them "homer" choices I might add.)The Astros got it right once and haven't come close since (although the blue and gold weren't bad.)And to think the Vikings thought they could improve on thisAnd finally...The Rams never looked better.I could go on and on...and maybe I will in another post. BBTV
I don't really think that any uniform needs to come back, but add me to the list of fans of the "Old Navy" Pacers uniform. scraw28
I don't really think that any uniform needs to come back, but add me to the list of fans of the "Old Navy" Pacers uniform.great, they can wear these on hardwood classics night against the pistons at the palace and at halftime they can reenact the brawl.they basically cant go back to these after that moment although they went to the finals in those unis back in 2000
-kj
Aren't the Pistons still wearing the same jerseys they were then? Are the jerseys that attached to the incident? chuckymack
I also prefer the old Bengals' unis, but I prefer the older ones with the number on the sleeves (instead of the unnecessary tiger).Check out Boomer's Pumps! Also, count me in for the old-school Broncos and the 'Old Navy' Pacers. Viper
And to think the Vikings thought they could improve on thisTotally agree. Brett Favre might have actually looked good in a uniform like this, instead of the crap-tastic design the Vikings have now.
Burmy
While I'm not a White Sox fan, I'd like to see these babies make a comeback. 1976 was a good year. Let's hope they don't go back to Bermuda shorts:

oo_nrb
Would love to see the Broncos go back to this design:The design of our quarterback being sacked? With Orton taking snaps next year, you're going to get your wish. (Snarkiness aside, I love the orange crush jerseys too, and think they should make their modern orange alts their regular home jerseys). My non-homer contribution (at least the helmets and/or the not blue pants):My homer contribution: 2011 Colorado Rockies | Season from Hell
DustDevil61
Utah Jazz Green (early 1980s):Good call! Those were actual one of my first uni mysteries. I was probably like 7 (so early 90's, before the internet), and there was about a two second clip on this NBA blooper tape I had that showed that jersey. I always thought it was a green Jazz jersey, and how great that would look, but I was never able to confirm it until I got the internet. I even went to the library, where they had short little yearbook type things with a history of each NBA team, and that uniform wasn't shown in the book. Unfortunately, that was about the most research a 7 year old could do at the time.Just a little history about these: From the website I got this pic from, it said that after their worst season yet (at that point which was 1978-79), the team made the move to Salt Lake City and made these the main road jerseys, as kind of a way to start afresh. However, according to the SL Tribune, the team was so poor when they moved that they couldn't afford to change the name and uniforms. After a few years, however, they went back to purple as the main color and stayed with that set until they went to the mountain look.My opinion about this: If the Jazz decide to overhaul their colors again soon, I say make green/gold the scheme, with either navy, copper, purple, indigo (not quite purple, not quite navy, but somewhere inbetween), or even black as a third trim. That way, they can lay claim to being the only current green/gold team in the NBA, as that other team from Seattle is out of commission for the moment.Other recommendations:Astros, mid- to late-1980s (post tequilla sunrise, but with orange hat)Broncos, pre-1997Vikings, pre-current setNHL, whole league pre-RBK EDGE (wasn't necessary in first place, though keep San Jose, Carolina, Vancouver, and Phoenix [provided that the 'Yotes are still around in a couple years] sets, but with CCM).Houston Oilers, latest era (up until the move)"Pac-Man" HawksRockets, pre-pajama lookPhillies, maroon/light blue (button-up, though)Royals, all light blue (current light blue alts are a step in the right direction, but not quite there)California Angels, pre-Disney "CA" and the crap that came afterBengals, 1981 up until the switch to this current look (with orange alts, I might add)Suns, 1990s Barkley-era (their best look to me; even the black alt. looked great, but maybe charcoal instead of black might work if they went with orange as their main color and made just a few tweaks)Pacers, "Old-Navy" look or mid-late 1990s lookSacramento Kings, light blue/red AKA @LanRovr0 on Twitter LED Sig Credits to packerfan21396

Korkie
Great calls on the old Seahawks and Broncos as well. I loved that shade of blue the Broncos used on their helmets. BlueSky
Sadly, there's no team to wear them, but I always thought these colors were beautiful and unique, and the derrick logo was one of the best in football. Few teams today have meaningful nicknames - by meaningful, I mean nicely apropos to the city/region - and that's one of the reasons I really liked the Oilers name and logo.In the 'great minds think alike' department ( ) , the Rams' blue and white scheme also came to my mind. With some minor tweaks to modernize them, like adding some gold trim and making the shoulder stripe into the later 'horn' design, those would be awesome. Sign me up for the old Denver unis too. The 'screaming wind tunnel horse head' is nowhere close to as good as the old 'horse in D'. As a compromise though, somebody on the board did a concept with the new horse in a D like the old one and that worked nicely IMO.
illwauk
For me, the mid 90s Astros and late 90s Bengals immediately came to mind. I'd love to see the old Rainbow Warriors as throwbacks, except they already have about 52 different possible combos as it is and the current look has grown on me.I'll add...Early 70s Hawks (if anyone knows the name of that font, PM me)Mid-Late 70s SpursClassic PittAnd my homer picks:
