B-Rich
Thouhgt I might share this gem-- the local AAA team, the Zephyrs, will hold "New Orleans Hornets Night" on August 2nd. In addition to appearance by Hornets players, Hornets-themed entertainment throughout the baseball game and shared mascot time between Hugo (or is it now Hugeaux?) and Boudreaux the Nutria, the Zephyrs will wear these Hornets colored jerseys ( sorry for the pic size, best I could get):It sounds like the best deal is for Hornets season ticket holders. Each season ticket holder gets:- 2 Free Zephyrs game tickets- Free parking- Access to an exclusive pre-game tailgate party with free beer, soda & water, inflatable games and other kid-friendly activities. That's customer service. It is what it is.
FiddySicks
Wow, no kidding. I wish the RiverCats offered that to Kings season ticket holders. I can picture it now, those fans would make a pre game tailgate party absolutely crazy, all ten of em. Saint Zephyr III
I would totally buy that jersey in a heartbeat. I know, it's absurd, but it's the Zephyrs!

thewhodat
giving away free beer to people a few yards from their cars? But you are talking about a town with drive-thru daiquiris The Hornets give away free beer to Hornets season ticket holders quite often throughout the regular season before home games. And the Zephyrs have dollar beer nights every thursday. Alcohol drives everything in New Orleans.

Mings
I wish I would have made it to the game. I guess I don't have much excuse since I live about a mile from Zephyr Field. I think they could have been better, like just take the NOLA Alts and put them in Hornets colors.
patsox
They should've worn pinstripes like the Hornets do.
eRay
Looks like the Hornets delivered a punch to the Zephyrs' collective gut. They gave them Hilton Armstrong to throw out the first pitch.
