My god, they even bring up how boring this period is on SportsCenter EVERY DAMN YEAR. Of course, this means no Fenway, no Yankee Stadium, no Wrigley Field. But so what? Most of the best players in a World Cup would play in at least 1 or 2 of these parks during the MLB season, so its not like it would be a unique experience. Is the NFL missing out by not having the Super Bowl at Lambeau Field? I think they do pretty well in San Diego, Miami or whatever.Heck, play the World Cup at PETCO in San Diego and call it the Ted Williams Trophy. That makes sense to me Yeah do that.
