BTW, Barrish, Idaho St. has lost every game this year. Just a side note

That doesn't really matter now, does it?

Yeah. So what if you're winless and about to go to Engl...

Wait, what?

Hmmm. I wonder if public pressure got to them.

ARK@UF Crew Suspended

SEC FOOTBALL OFFICIATING CREW SUSPENDED

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 21, 2009) -- The officiating crew from Saturday?s Arkansas at Florida football game will be removed from its next scheduled assignment on Oct. 31 and will not be assigned to officiate as a crew until Nov. 14, Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive announced Wednesday.

"A series of calls that have occurred during the last several weeks have not been to the standard that we expect from our officiating crews," said Slive. "I believe our officiating program is the best in the country, however, there are times when these actions must be taken."

Perhaps Florida State should consider sacking Jimbo Fisher as well as Bobby Bowden.

I have two tickets to the Ohio State-Minnesota game tomorrow. Everyone I know has other plans (more like OSU lost 2 games already this season and nobody wants to go) so I'm taking my mom. I've been to 4 OSU games with her, the Buckeyes are 4-0, but it has rained at every game we've been to together. The forecast for tomorrow? Rain.

Not at this rate. UNC seems determined to extend the tenures of every bad coach in the ACC. I'm just glad we don't play Maryland this year. I'm tired of losing to coaches who are on the verge of being fired.

First Thursday Night in Chapel Hill game ever. The nightmare of having a Thursday night game in our on-campus stadium actually goes very well, and the stadium is packed and rowdy by kickoff. We even get Lawrence Taylor to come back for the first time since he played here. We have a bad Florida State team on the ropes, and then we decide to pull a Denny Green and let them off the hook.

Couldn't you find a girl to take to the game?

For the second week in three GameDay is at a Game which ABC/ESPN is not broadcasting. I think that TCU got slighted. Have then win on Saturday then got to FTW for the Utah game. The lower seeded team should not get gameday unless it is a top 5 game.

Mandel, posted early Thursday, is right in saying, First of all, can someone please explain how the same BYU team that lost 54-28 to 2-4 Florida State has risen back up to No. 16 in the rankings?"

The web world seems to look to have TCU get beat and love BYU. We will see. Wait, I won't since I have DirecTV.

Well, all sorts of upsets have happened which has allowed BYU to get back up into this position. Think about it... Say those upsets didn't happen, where would BYU be? Out of the poll, that's where.

I also want to put out that I feel that Florida should be on upset alert tonight against Mississippi State (Also, I might want to put Flame on heart attack alert for what I'm going to say). The last time the Gators went to Starkville? They lost... The Gators haven't won there in 25 years. You have to think that the Bulldogs are in the Gators' head for some reason.

Oh, and since I get Versus, I'll watch TCU-BYU tonight. Nothing like a Mountain West Melee to do something... Not sure what, but it sounds better then watching the Lucky Bastards of the Big Ten get another lucky win or watching Texas gore Missouri like the Tigers were a poor matador.

How is it possible that Florida hasn't played at Mississippi State in 25 years? I'd think that schedule rotations would mean they play there at least every 5.

Boy, was that something else...8 turnovers for the Huskers. I haven't seen a team with that much ball control issues in some time.

Oh, and with that stat about the Gators: In that 25 year stretch, the Gators have only been to Starkville 4 times and have gone 0-4 there. Maybe cowbells are a natural deterrant to Gators, eh?
