illwauk Posted August 5, 2009 Share Posted August 5, 2009 I wonder if any of the Milwaukee Brewers' various Bear uniforms have any basis in historical reality.These look a lil suspect since they obviously came from negroleagueshop.com which is known for making their own mock-ups. There's not much original info on the Bears since they were shunned by the local media. The ones they wore last year (and IMO, better looking) looked much more like the (presumably) game-used Bears jersey that's on display at Miller Park. You'd think an organization with major league money could afford to do some thoro research when they're claiming to be in possession of the real thing. They only played a handful of games in Milwaukee before becoming a travelling team, and then only did that for a couple months or so before folding. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database!
