Hey Brassbonanza,

My son has the movie - William DeFoe is great. Bloody and morbid, but still, I like the plot of the 2 irish brothers. Can't say it would make my top 100 - but I enjoyed it.

As a film nut, there is absolutely no way I could limit my list to just ten movies. Okay, I could... but that would take a great deal of agonizing.

When I turned twenty, I selected my twenty favorite films of all time. At thirty, I expanded the list by ten films. This coming September, I'll hit the "Big 4-0", so - what the hell - I'll add ten more NOW. Here then are Brian in Boston's TOP 30 FAVORITE FILMS OF ALL TIME!

(Organized by year of release)

City Lights (1931)

A Night at the Opera (1935)

Bringing Up Baby (1938)

Stagecoach (1939)

The Wizard of Oz (1939)

Fantasia (1940)

Citizen Kane (1941)

The Road to Morocco (1942)

It's A Wonderful Life (1946) - My favorite film of all time.

Notorious (1946)

The Third Man (1949)

Kind Hearts and Coronets (1950)

Singin' in the Rain (1952)

Mister Roberts (1955)

Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)

Some Like It Hot (1959)

Lawrence of Arabia (1962)

To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

The Graduate (1967)

M*A*S*H (1970)

The Sting (1973)

Young Frankenstein (1974)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)

Breaking Away (1979)

The Last Emperor (1987)

Bull Durham (1988)

See, this is the problem with putting up the top ten without going to the rack to research the DVDs first :D

There's a LOT of movies on BiB's list that oughta be on mine, too...dammit. Later tonite I'm gonna edit...
