Oso
I admittedly am biased being a Penn State alumnus of Penn State, however I always found the name Nittany Lions to be rather unique. Also, the Altoona Curve, with the dual meaning is unique in a good way.Couldn't do this thread though without mentioning the Tonopah (NV) High School Muckers. Formerly the White Imps, before integration.Lincoln City Footbal Club in England have been the Red Imps for a long time.Freeport Fighting Pretzels, Freeport High School, IL.Seriously.Fighting Pretzels.
