TFoA
The race for 4th had some pretty crucial games:Aston Villa 1-1 SunderlandMan City 0-2 EvertonThings got kind of tense at the end of the Man City-Everton game, as David Moyes & Roberto Mancini got into each other's faces. Moyes got the ball & held on to it in order to waste time, Mancini ran over to Moyes, snatched the ball away, gave him a push & both men exchanged words. Both managers got sent off. Everton continues to own Man City in CoMS. City's probably pissed because they had a multitude of chances & wasted all of them, compared to Everton who had basically two really good chances and converted both of them. City dropped 3 points, Villa dropped 2. Kinda disappointing that Villa can't seem to get a good winning streak going, lately. They've been getting points, but mostly from draws. MattF
Villa are crap, we can't beat anyone we should, (which means we'll beat Chelsea on Saturday, and lose every other game for the rest of the season)
Saintsfan
Great night for Spurs tonight. In addition to some good league results for them and they went into the Cup semis with a win over FulhAM, 3-1. 2011/12 WFL Champions
WJMorris3
Looks like Chelsea beat Aston Villa by about the expected margin, given the talent of the two teams. Meanwhile, Schalke took the lead in the Bundesliga.
TFoA
That Villa game was painful to watch in the end...not only did they lose, but that goal differential is going to come back to haunt them, I bet. Looking like Europa League at best for Aston Villa. Inter & Roma played a very exciting game in Serie A, though. Roma took a 2-1 win & pulled within a point of catching Inter for first in Italy. That's gonna be a very interesting race to follow.

Some of the other things you've said are kinda funny, but this is over the top, this is the same Villa team that BEAT!!!! Chelsea 2-1 at Villa Park, the same Chelsea team who less than 2 weeks ago was struggling mightily, but they're 6 goals better than Villa, yup. I know where to come for all my Premier League analysis from now on.

Saintsfan
Villa aren't looking that strong at the moment! Its interesting, and not something that I can think of happening all that often, that the two FA Cup semifinals both had dress rehearsals yesterday. Whether or not Villa can learn from the humiliation and beat Chelsea in their match up is questionable, and P h look completely lost without O'Hara in midfield (he's on loan from Spurs so can't play against them!) So its looking like a Spurs vs Chelsea FA Cup final this year. A repeat of the 1967 final, and the 2008 League Cup final. (Spurs won both!) 2011/12 WFL Champions

TFoA
So the Bayern Munich-Man U match has JUST started, and on United's first trip into Bayern's end they score in the 2nd minute.Considering Bayern's run of form in the Bundesliga as of late, this could be a long night for them. MattF
Ribery tied it in Munich, while Lyon is 3-1 up now, setting up for 2 intriguing second legsEDIT: Injury time winner for Bayern! and according to Soccernet, Rooney had to be helped off, if thats true that tie changed rather quickly! Still MIGHTY
And in the stoppage time... Bayern scores for the 2-1 win over Manchester United... And Rooney leaves the field with some help and no weight on his right foot... ing awesome Terrible sequence. Man U just standing around. Munich dude just strips it clean in the box and is one on one with Van Der Sar. No chance.United better come out with a huge showing in Old Trafford on April 7. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
TFoA
Can't say Bayern didn't deserve that result...after that quick goal, they definitely were the better team from that point on. Gonna be very interesting when they go to Old Trafford.Bordeaux's had a rough few days, looks like. Lost the Coupe de Ligue to Marseille & then today's result against Lyon. That's gonna be a pretty tough task for Bordeaux, considering how well Lyon has played on the road throughout the tournament.
Saintsfan
Both Champions league away teams got away goals, that could be crucial. I think that United have a good chance still- early reports on the Rooney injury don't make it sound too serious. Probably not much more than a sprained ankle. Lyon are in a stronger position than Bayern, with a two goal lead, Bordeaux have a tough task to come from behind. 2011/12 WFL Champions
