Brave-Bird 08
I just want to see them match the helmet script with the blue on their uniforms.
rtrich11
I just want to see them match the helmet script with the blue on their uniforms. You'd probably never be able to see it very well, but I like your sentiment. As for these unis, the fans will really have trouble making out the numbers. I, for one, like the darker blue UCLA uses. What would you call the darker blue? It's not royal or baby blue. cafepress.com/artbyrichards
andrewharrington
Those rock so much harder than the normal, outline-frenzy uniforms. What a great look I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]
oddball
So they ditch the Toledo era jerseys only to bring them back in the form a throwback? There was nothing wrong with the Toledo era jerseys, I wish they'd go back to them. Also, wasn't this subject discussed in a thread sometime in the spring time? It's the only reason I didn't post on this. I swear we discussed this already.
bowld
love them..now if they could go back to the jerseys worn in late 90's full time i would be even more exstatic
hecticbro
Those are awful! I hate it when teams don't set the number color far enough apart from the jersey fabric.I like their normal uniforms a lot, even though the helmets don't match. Cujo
I love the font -- something UCLA should really consider going back to. Mix in a navy blue outline and you have yourself a winner.
Billy B
I really like the number font, but the numbers being white with no outline is just too hard to read. Get an outline on that and some gold in the stripes and it will be great.
slapshot
http://www.uclabruins.com/sports/m-footbl/.../081009aaa.htmlOdd that adidas would use Clarendon on the graphic, when the actual numbers clearly aren't. vicfurth
I miss the old days with that Clarendon font. Those were the my favorite UCLA unis:
Ted Cunningham
I, for one, like the darker blue UCLA uses. What would you call the darker blue? It's not royal or baby blue.Collegiate blue? utahjazz48
I don't know what to say. It's great for them going retro, but a horrible design. The first non-banned member of ther CCSLC to post in The Ugliest Bathroom.
Jaybird
http://www.uclabruins.com/sports/m-footbl/.../081009aaa.htmlA very historic design for the Bruins. According to some old UCLA pictures I have seen, these were the jerseys UCLA wore in the 1960's. The #16 jersey on the post is similar to the one worn by UCLA's only Heisman Trophy winner to date, quarterback Gary Beban. Atlanta Braves, please bring back the Indian Head logo. Jaybird
I miss the old days with that Clarendon font. Those were the my favorite UCLA unis:If they were navy blue, they would pass for Ole Miss ones.In fact, before going to the UCLA-style stripe jersey, Ole Miss used the Clarendon number font with three arm stripes on their uniforms. Atlanta Braves, please bring back the Indian Head logo.
