chickenfish13 Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 OK guys. So recently I have been wanting to do beveling in Inkscape. I have been doing all the bevels individually, and it's starting to bug me, and I figure there has to be an easier way. I know people know quick ways to do it in Illustrator and CORELdraw, but I haven't seen anything about Inkscape. So If anyone could help, that would be great, and Thanks. dribbble
chickenfish13 Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 Ok, apparently I didn't look hard enough, but I found a tutorial that works. Sorry guys, I should have looked harder. The tutorial is by Ryan Lerch, but If you guys have any other bevel shortcuts, feel free to let me know. dribbble
andrewharrington Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Good beveling is done by hand. It is an art, and there is no shortcut, only practice. I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry [The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position, strategy or opinions of adidas and/or its brands.]
chickenfish13 Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 Thanks man. I just have heard of so many ways to do it automatically in other programs, and I was curious to see if there were any for Inkscape. dribbble

chickenfish13 Posted August 20, 2009 Author Posted August 20, 2009 I'm not sure. I'm not the greatest at it, so That's why I was looking for a tutorial. Just try and use the bezier tool to draw bevels where u think they would work. That might help. dribbble
