BBTV
Phillies = Kyle Kendrick76ers = Willie GreenFlyers = Randy Jones, Riley CoteEagles = Greg LewisKyle Kendrick is just a minor leaguer who gets called up whenever people get hurt - I wouldn't say he's a guy who makes a major-league career for himself despite not having a ton of talent. Every team has a Kyle Kendrick... well, almost every team.Greg Lewis has played on other teams (Patriots, now Vikings), so he's out. I really think Reno Mahe is the best Eagles example - nobody else ever wanted him.If the Flyers let Randy Jones go, he'd be picked up somewhere. tBBP
Earlier I was looking back at highlights form that Bears-Packers tilt on Sunday. Somewhere in one of those screenshots, it jumped out at me.Nathan Vasher. Has this guy done anything while in Chicago? Or is this not a good example? BaltimoreFan
For the Ravens, Isaiah Williams was cut. But he was probably only on the Ravens because he played at Maryland (and the Ravens needed WRs). For the Orioles, the only guy I can really think of is Jeff Fiorentino. He was just called up for roster expansion, but was released by two other teams previously this season. He was orginally drafted by the Orioles and actually tore up Single A Fredrick. However the O's called him up that year and he was never the same.
Discrim
bucfan beat me to it, but yeah, just now I was thinking if I was a Cowboy fan I woulda listed Bates. and yeah B, Vasher the Stampede's done a thing or two (most notably, the aforementioned FG return in the Wind Bowl).this is kind of a hard list to fill out though, just cus the kind of guys who stay with one team are either a: stars who can't be easily replaced, or b: guys who aren't good enough to even be journeymen for whatever reason, but fit one particular team's plans perfectly (basically imagine a less talented version of Jeremiah Trotter. Man, that guy never looked right as anything but an Eagle) A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
sc49erfan15
49ers: Jeff Ulbrich. Has spent his entire career with the Niners, on and off starter, I'm really not sure if he'd catch on anywhere else.

There isn't a Flyers fan who knows something about hockey who likes Riley Cote. On a side note, I saw him at I guess his store at King of Prussia. He was signing autographs, so I just walked by and got a soft pretzel for myself.

Sheesh...I remember him being one of the key cogs of the June Jones-led Hawaii Rainbow Warriors back during their "worst-to-first" turnaround season of 1999, Jones' first year. Can't recall if that was Ulbrich's final year with the Warriors, though. (I think that was also the year before they changed up their uniforms as well.) *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

BBTV
Would Steve Tasker fit this on the Bills?Technically no, since he played with the Oilers.IMO, I think that if he ever got dropped from Buffalo, someone surely would have signed him up. I think the best examples are guys that for whatever reason get a break with a team, work hard and stay there for a little while, but don't have enough talent to ever make it on to anyone else's team. FamousAtticus
For the Jacksonville Jaguars it was Tony Boselli, he played for the Jags from 1995-2001. He was selected by the Texans in the 2002 Expansion Draft but was placed on the IR list and never played a single down for them. He eneded up in 2006 signing a one-day contract for the Jags so he could retire as one, and he became the first player inducted into the "Pride of the Jaguars"(team HOF).Random Note: He along with former Jags QB Mark Brunnel(currently w/ Saints) own a few Whataburger fast food chains in the Jacksonville area. Saintsfan
Some soccer examples from EnglandArsenal- Hard to think of a guy being a good solid pro rather than star, but a guy like Paul Davis, from the 80s would be up there. Aston Villa- He was captain of their European Cup Final winners, but even still Dennis Mortimer is the most obvious example I can think of.Chelsea- always been a team relying on big signings, and given that John Terry is a star player, maybe you might need to go back in time to a Mickey Droy, from the 70s and 80s.Manchester United- Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes have both been very regular internationals, so I will go for Wes Brown.Liverpool- another team with plenty of stars who stick around, maybe a Jamie Carragher might count? My own Southampton- can think of plenty of examples here, Matt Le Tissier was too much of a star to count, so guys like Jason Dodd and Francis Benali are the obvious two. 2011/12 WFL Champions
