Oakland Raiders Uniforms

I have always been bothered by how plain and boring the Raiders current uniforms are. It just seems so bland. So I decided to put together a concept based on what I think they should look like. For referance, here are the Raiders' current uniforms: Home Road

Helmet- the current helmet is good, but I think a black facemask makes it much better. I also added a thin black outline arounf the logo and changed a few colors, such as the swords.

Jerseys-

Home:I find them very dull, silver numbers on black, no stripes or anything. I added a white outline to the numbers to make them stand out more. I also added a silver stripe to the sleeves.

Road: The only thing I did here was add a black stripe to the sleeves, and thicken the silver outline on the numbers a bit.

Both: Both jerseys now feature the Raiders wordmark above the front number.

Pants- the current pants have a single black stripe down the side. I thickened the black line and added a white stripe on either side.

Overall, I wanted to make everything a little sharper, making things stand out more. As for alternates, I tinkered with some (including throwbacks, silver jersey, and white pants), but nothing looked like s good fit for the Raiders. One other thing, this is my first football concept, so if you have any helpful tips or suggestions about the basic design, please let me know.

not bad but why are they so choppy and blurry?

Honestly man, I'd like to see you do more with your concepts. These changes certainly work and it would be a nice looking uniform if used. However it's just so close to the current set it's almost pointless.

The point is, this is a concept so you have the freedom to do anything you want, some really crazy, out there stuff, but you stick with these very safe 'tweaks'. I've found the concepts I enjoy the most are those that take chances and come up with a new spin on an established look.

Let me just get this out of the way first, I think this is a downgrade. I actually think the Raiders have one of the better and tougher looks in football.

Adding white to the home takes away from the dark image I think they should portray. The away looks pretty good overall. On a side note, the belt loops should be silver. I'm not sure. I think the only thing you could do is to just change the collar and cuffs to silver on the home and black on the road. Or what I'd really like to see you do is a total rebrand! (wink, wink

As for quality, like the above poster said, it's really blurry and choppy. Have you tried Inkscape? It was recommended to me and I really like it a lot.

Yo tambien. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but it really is great. I definitely recommend Inkscape

In all honesty, I don't think you accomplished your goal at all. The set that you produced is still very boring and bland- you basically just outlined the numbers and pants striping in white from what I can tell. I think I'd just prefer to see Oakland in what they currently wear- the addition of white just isn't enough and really doesn't improve Oakland.
