GFB
You're all wrong, of course. The best home kit they've had:Though, in retrospect, I'd like it even better with the smaller name font they've been using lately.Quoted for truth. Also, call me skeptical, but I'm still not convinced that these are the real uniforms. A mid-to-upper level photoshopper could do this rather easily. Take a picture of say, a leaked Inter Milan clash kit, change the crest around, play with the filters, and BOOM. Leaked photo. Now the Dempsey one would be a little more difficult, but you could take a picture from the last USMNT unveiling or from this years Fulham unveiling and change the kit around and you have what you see there. Also, why would Nike come out with an clash and alternate kit at the same time? Now I would say that 95% that those are the real home kits.. but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that these are fakes. schtee
I've written a tongue-in-cheek article about how countries that wear collared shirts do poorly at the World Cup, only 5 of the last 18 World Cups. Bad news for England. Also included a nice photographic summary of all the winners. http://www.epltalk.com/revealed-what-england-must-do-to-win-the-world-cup/12961 @aghease

chestnutz
The new adidas numbers are horrible. Can be seen here, on the back of the Spain jersey (all the adidas teams have this number font, as far as I know)http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/store/index.jsp erikas | go birds | dribbble
Ben7
(sorry for a slightly offtopic post)official World Cup 2010 match ball JABULANISourceThe name:The name ?JABULANI? originates from the indigenous language isiZulu, one of the eleven official languages of the Republic of South Africa, which is spoken by almost 25% of the population. Literally translated, ?JABULANI? means ?to celebrate?. Football is a passion that unites the world. The name of the new match ball appropriately pays tribute to the passionate football celebration international fans will enjoy in South Africa next summer. The design:Eleven different colours are used in the adidas ?JABULANI?, the eleventh adidas World Cup ball. These 11 colours represent the 11 players in every team, the 11 official languages of South Africa and the 11 South African communities that make the country one of the most ethnologically diverse countries on the African continent. The colourful design brings together the tremendous diversity of the country in harmonious unity. Four triangle-shaped design elements on a white background lend the ball a unique appearance in African spirit. And like the outer facade of Johannesburg?s Soccer City Stadium, individual design elements also capture the colourfulness of South Africa.3-D panel shapes:The Match Ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup features a completely new, ground-breaking technology. Eight 3-D spherically formed EVA and TPU panels are moulded together, harmoniously enveloping the inner carcass. The result is an energetic unit combined with perfect roundness. Following the first tests, players all over the world are enthusiastic and are promising many goals with the new ball.
-kj
I get a Spinal Tap vibe from the bit about the panel shapes. "But it's rounder!" Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Saintsfan
I get a Spinal Tap vibe from the bit about the panel shapes. "But it's rounder!"I have a feeling this is ball manufacturers catching onto the soap powder method of advertising. For ages 'whiter whites' was the way to advertise soap powder. Now it seems 'rounder spheres' is the way to advertise soccer balls. 2011/12 WFL Champions

keynote
Good for Nigeria. I wish my Trinidad & Tobago had taken a similar tack with adidas about the "off the rack" template kit they received for the World Cup. I'd like to see more national feds stand up to the kit makers and demand a higher quality of design.
