nivrag69
Andrew I use paintshop pro and an older version at that. I first acquired the template a few years ago so I honestly don't remember how I did it. But I will go back and play with it. Stay patient tho, I'll try. nivrag69
I don't know what photo shop elements look like, But I just recreated the image in an older version of photoshop. CS3 I believe, but I was able to do it just fine. And I am no photoshop user by far that's why I use paintshop. The trick is to make sure you follow steps 4 and beyond (they are on the first page of the post) to the tee and you'll be ok. Where do you seem to be getting lost. GeauxColonels
This is all fantastic. And actually much more simple than I would have ever imagined. Does anyone have vector versions of the color layers? I think (for me at least) it would be easier to edit that layer in Inkscape and then open it in GIMP to add the 3D layers and finishing touches. hugevolsfan
Photoshop elements does not allow you to do the final steps to group the layers & get the transparency. nivrag69
I have them as vectors, they're paintshop pro files however. Is Inkscape pretty easy to use ? What about gimp
GeauxColonels
I like Inkscape, but it's all I've used for vector editing so I can't compare it to other programs. I've just started to delve into GIMP with these templates. Here's my first attempt. I'm pretty pleased with the result. There are a few issues around the facemask which occurred when I was changing the colors. That's why I want vectors of the color layers.Just whipped this one up pretty quickly. I need to really perfect where I think the helmet decal needs to go. It's in slightly different placements on each of these:
GriffinM6
I'm trying to do this right now. When I paste the second mask layer to my helmet file, the "channel" section doesn't pop up. Any help?

GriffinM6
I have photoshop elements, which doesn't have the "channel" section. What should I do instead?
andrewhartin
You do not have to use the chanel with elements you can simply stack layers like you would a regular graphic GriffThat being said what page is the revolution Templates on?

I just flipped the original template horizontally and warped the number the way I wanted it.Something I threw together with the two helmets.
