CAB Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I started a thread for my Draw Brawl entry, but I'm not really getting any good ideas or much time to work on it, so I decided to start a separate thread for any uniforms (college or pro)that I believe need fixes and/or updates. Logo tweaks may be posted as well. I think even if they play at a different level there has to be SOME differences. I originally started out making 'wings' on the sleeves, which eventually transformed into this sort of abstract and unique (IMO) striping design. C&C as always.That is one of the most original and unique concepts I've ever seen.Having said that, I like your original idea of putting wings there. Everybody has an opinion on something, so I'd like to hear it.Tampa Bay BuccaneersThis concept was inspired by the white helmet in the prototype helmet thread for the Bucs. I thought the orange and red looked really great together. So I guess this the return of the creamsicles once again. I thought up about five different stiping patterns and I wasn't really happy with any of them so I decided to go with my first idea which was this. The numbers are custom and I added a beveling effect because I felt they were empty. I also liked the idea of just the skull on the helmets so I removed it from the flag and recolored it to match the jerseys. CDixonDesign Posted October 26, 2009 Share Posted October 26, 2009 I'd try to "shear" and rotate the helmet logo because the perspective is off from the Bucs original logo...and +1 for using a different style of numbers, maybe more of a classic varsity font... Cdixon, I actually did have a version of the logo rotated but I rather like how it looks skewed on the helmet, sort of gives of a motion vibe I think. I was originally going to use block numbers but I thought three concepts in a row with block font was a little too much so I wanted to do something different and used something that matches the style of the current wordmark while still being legible.
