Instead of a lighthouse, maybe you could play around with the sentry posts (?) common on a lot of Puerto Rican forts.

I've seen this type of image used in a lot of Puerto Rican tourism promotions, so I think it can be considered a fairly iconic Puerto Rican image.

It most certainly is.

News on the USL/TOA/NASL

a lot happend in the last few days, I recomend reading the 201o link.

NASL (late 60's to mid 80s)

NASL (proposed league starting in 2010)

Whatever happens I hope for a combined effort of all leagues at all levels with some form of partnerships, doesn't have to be farm teams, certainly not anything about Promotion/Relegation which is not feasable for the next decade if not way longer at least.

now back to your work

GENERAL

chestnutz: your soccer concepts are always a pleasure to watch/read

I like that color splash presentation aswell. cool idea, nicely done.

USL

the USL logo is nice, not such a fan of the font however.

how about a NASL logo? ;)

Rochester Rinos

the logo is simply awesome, very nice work, love the colors, fonts, design and the simple yet unmistakable rino

Clevland City Stars

also a very cool idea to do something a bit out of the box or at least not so common.

Cisco would make a fantastic Jersey sponsor for a San Francisco team btw ^_^

Puerto Rico Islanders

upgrade and cool idea for the logo

if you have time

I'd be interested what you could come up with for a San Diego based team (colors blue/gold or blue/orange)
