'Reaction' Photos

One of my favorites, when my basketball team one the sectional championship last year at Blue Cross Arena. The black guy jumping is one of the best to ever play for our school, and now plays for Richmond (which is a big deal for a school as small as ours). I'm the kid in the long blonde hair jumping on the far right. Love the reactions of all our fans in the background, our coach the lil short white man, and the chubby black kid sitting down that nobody knew giving the fist pump.

The Pittsburgh Penguins bench when Fleury made the game-saving last-second save for the Stanley Cup.

The somber look of the fans, teh jubilant look of the players, the still-clutching-towel-in-anxiety of equipment manager Dana Heinze, and the "OMG A COMET HEADING RIGHT FOR US!" expression of former Assistant Coach Tom Fitzgerald and the Head Trainer... while Bylsma, strangely, shows no emotion whatsoever.

The photo I took a few seconds after the one quoted was taken

One of my favourites from that game was a photo I took of Bill Guerin bringing the Stanley Cup to his young children and the reaction on their faces:

Were you on the ice after Game 7 or just have a great camera?

Neither, I'm a good photographer.

Here's another one:

This guy caught a foul ball, and gave it to his daughter. She promptly threw it back. His reaction was priceless:

I remember seeing that...it was so funny, but also cute at the same time.

This ones great, not the best view of it though. Bernard Berrian makes a RIDICULOUS catch in the NFC championship game a few years back, with sexy Rexy at the helm.....and then this happens

Yes, and in the best condition it ever has been.

Cool. It's a wicked looking building.

It's got a wizard-of-oz charm to it in that picture. Very cool.

Most of Pittsburgh is like that. In fact...most of it hasn't changed. ^_^

That pic is greatness - a classic. I'd never seen it before. It also captures my original intent for the thread - the reaction of onlookers as opposed to the participants themselves. Don't get me wrong, the pics posted are all great and they expanded the thread nicely, I'm just saying my personal faves on the ones with onlookers' reactions, be it fans, coaches, bench players, whoever.
