John Marinatto is an incredibly incompetent commissioner.And this is one of the biggest reasons why we're more than likely leaving. Hence why they only have decent facilities and no on-campus stadium. Hell, they used a 20k high school/soccer stadium for their spring game. Though you can say the same about the players at Miami, Nevin Shapiro just doesn't pull the same weight as Bevo does.Actually Miami doesn't have that much money behind it. It's a small private school with a middling-to-poor fanbase. Their one advantage was their immediate access to South Florida talent and a willingness to turn a blind eye to any NCAA violations/criminal escapades on the part of the players.The boosters' money more than made up for it, though. Texas and maybe Texas Tech maybe the other 2. It has basically been confirmed that Texas has talked with the ACC, I would guess their little brother has had a conversation. Any school is one big alumni/donor check away from leaving. S/he may not cover all the costs, but they could cover most of it. Plus, they would still have to be voted in. As for the ACC, their current TV contracts are still larger than the new ones negotiated by the Big XII. If the ACC acts before the SEC does, then all hell does really break loose.
