This Saturday at 4:30 I'll watch the Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs for the first time in my 22 years. That's all I could've asked for at the beginning of the season. I'll be ecstatic if they can turn around tonight's debacle and pick up a playoff victory, but I'll live if the Jets beat them again.

They were!!!?

This isn't your fault, I just thought that I've posted this story enough times that people may have heard it already so I didn't include it in my first post. I had a high school hockey game at the exact same time on the exact same day in January of 2006. I recorded the game on the DVR and tried like hell to ignore any coverage or discussion of the game in the arena, but a parent broke the news about Carson Palmer's injury during intermission in the locker room. I played the whole game like a zombie. When I got home I watched like 3 minutes of the recorded game (already aware of the outcome) became disgusted and turned it off.

So, I am in my early 20's but have never witnessed a Bengals playoff game.

The Browns are done for the season. I need a bandwagon to jump on. Make a case for your team! :D (Baltimore, Cincinnati, and New England fans will be wasting their time.)

Join the Colts.

Our slogan?

"WE'RE WELL RESTED!"

Or just the Midwest ties. Ohio, Indy, etc. Whatev.

I don't think it's up to the networks, but rather the NFL sets the schedule. How was Dallas/Philly NOT the best primetime matchup of the four games?

Of course FOX would've chosen that game for 4:00 on Sunday if given the choice...

Well I'd make a case for the Jets but you're a Browns fan...it's bad enough as it is, so why torture yourself more than you have to?

I'm pretty sure that the networks fight it out to see who gets what (NBC getting one AFC and NFC game, and FOX getting the remaining NFC game and CBS getting the remaining AFC game.) I'm also pretty shocked that the NFC East game wasn't the Sunday 4:00 PM game, considering it's two of the biggest-market highest-raitings-getting teams in the league. Maybe NBC has more pull than I thought, or maybe it's payback for FOX protecting yesterday's game from being flexed.
