Update: After day one "Infrared41's Wild Guessers" are tied for first in the group. Not bad for a guy who watched about 30 seconds of college basketball all season long. We'll see how long it lasts.

I'm in with 2 entries. One is what I think will happen and the other is what I hope happens. Basically they are the same except the last one has Maryland winning it all and Duke going out to the play-in winner.

I would have loved to ween both those things happen. Wishes don't always come true.

This is the first time I've bothered to look at the standings for the group. I'm in second! Better performance than the actual Vanderbilt team, at least.

It helps that I picked West Virginia over Kentucky since I really did feel that the Cats' youth would catch up with them eventually.

Duke over Baylor would help me. Also, if Kansas could somehow emerge as the victor in the Tennessee-Michigan State tussle ... Then again, that'd probably help a whole lot of others and would keep me less impressive than #2.

Same. I've always gotten at least one of the four right, but this might be my most screwed up bracket ever.

The whole field wasn't as strong as it has been in earlier seasons. Or at least to where the top guys were far and away the top guys. The top teams weren't as good as before and the lower teams were right about where they were. Hard to pick.

First I messed up and didn't fill out a bracket at all, then I figured out what I was doing and still came in last. I didn't even try to finish last. What a terrible year.
