Gregmond Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 While I am a fan of hoops, I live in Australia, and therefore have no vested interest.As far as I aware, more than half of the NBA's current clubs are losing money. Why anyone (or any group) would therefore want to part with $300m for the privelage of throwing away even more money is beyond me. Sure, it would be nice to own a ball club ... but at what cost. I don't see David Stern throwing any potential owners under the bus when he is not in a position to guarantee the viability of any new club.Sure, it would be nice to have some new jerseys, names and logos to discuss, I can't see this happening any time soon.
