Looks like they decided to go straight new-blood with the forwards. Would've liked Johnson in there, but I can dig it. If Buddle brings that red-hot form that he's been on in MLS, this could definitely be a great move. I'm shocked as all hell to see that Findley made it. I suppose it makes sense considering Ching didn't look ready & EJ hasn't made too much of an impact lately. Shame, because a South Africa version of this would've been awesome.

But yeah, I'm feeling the roster. Bunch of young'ns in here with a few vets in there as well. Good roster. I think someone on big soccer said it best: These are the 23 best players from the US that actually want to play for the US. Let's pull for em like hell.

Here's hoping the US does not have to resort to using Oguchi Onyewu or Jonathan Bornstein on defense in a critical match.

Further, the US roster doesn't have much depth. I would be heavily concerned if one major injury would occur during the Group Stage.
